With the guidance of local enthusiast Karen Berry, we will explore the harbour shoreline and hedgerows at Dell Quay, looking for and identifying edible plants, fruits and seeds. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.

Sat 18 May - Chidham Shoreline Walk
10:30am / 2.5 hours
A 5 mile (8km) walk of the Chidham peninsula shoreline taking in three splendid views: Nutbourne Bay, the main harbour channel, and to Bosham. The paths may be muddy and some are well worn. Bring a snack for a short break. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.
Fee: £3 on the day
Meet: Cobnor Amenity Car Park. Take Chidham Lane to its southerly point and the entrance to the car park is at the point where the road turns to the right. 

Sun 19 May - Spring Bird Walk
8:30am / 2 hours
A stroll along the shoreline at Nutbourne, taking time to look for and identify the birds of the harbourside hedgerows. With local keen bird watcher Mick Evans. Bring binoculars. No dogs. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.

Sun 19 May - Geology of Itchenor Church
2:30pm / 1.5 hours
An opportunity to look closely at the variety of building stones found in St Nicholas’ Church, Itchenor and to hear something of the history of how they might have got to be there. In the company of local geology enthusiast David Bone. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.

Tue 28 May - Farm Walk
2pm / 2 hours
Meet the dairy farmers Mary and Stan Pike and learn all about how they manage their land in the protected landscape adjacent to the harbour and see the cows being milked. Afterwards you may like to visit their new cafe for refreshments and to enjoy their home produced ice cream. All attendees must attend safety briefing at 2pm. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.

Wed 29 May - Little Cockles: Pebble People
10:30am / 1.5 hours
Back by popular demand. This fun session on the beach is aimed at families with children up to 5 years old. We make a big daisy chain of ourselves in pebbles on the beach and then paint them in our favourite colours. In partnership with the National Trust. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.

Thur 30 May - Model Boats
2:30pm / 2.5 hours
Join model maker Simon Cowper in this fun workshop building your very own model boat using simple materials and techniques. At the end of the session discover how well she sails in a launch and recovery supervised by our Patrol Officers in their high spec RIB. Organised by Chichester Harbour Conservancy.
