CHICHESTER HARBOUR EVENTS - JANUARY 2012
Mon 2 January Bird Watching by Boat
1pm / 1.5 hours
Departs from Itchenor. Onboard there will be a guide to help you identify the thousands of birds that visit Chichester Harbour each winter. Fee: £8.50.
As the office is closed we can't take bookings for this trip. However, there are a number of places left so please turn up and note that after the booked passengers, others will be taken on a first come first served basis.
Sun 8 January Bird Walk at Nutbourne
8am / 1.5 hours
A short stroll along the harbour shoreline at Nutbourne, taking time to look for and identify the harbour birds. Dress warmly and bring binoculars. No dogs please.

Wed 18 January Harbour Creekies: You Can’t Do That!
10am / 2 hours
The Conservancy’s Role in Managing Development in Chichester Harbour. A talk in the warmth and dry of our new meeting room on Thorney Island, hearing from our Planning Officer about the Conservancy’s pressures and guidelines in regards to planning applications and development within the AONB.
A free return minibus trip sponsored by the Friends of Chichester Harbour is available from Chichester railway station, please contact the Harbour Office to find out the time and book your minibus seat, at least 24 hours in advance. No need to book this event if you do not want to use the minibus.
Fee: £2 per person on the day to include refreshments
Meet: Eames Farm, Thorney Island PO10 8DE, free parking.
